This award recognizes the importance of support from the business community to business education.  Recipients of this award have made meaningful contributions to business education programs in at least one of the following areas:
Served on a local advisory committee
Supplied speakers
Cooperated in a work experience program
Sponsored a regional meeting

The Stanley Lessoff Memorial Scholarship
The value of the The Stanley Lessoff Memorial Scholarship varies.  Eligibility requirements are:
The student must be a legal Connecticut resident
The student must have taken one credit in accounting with one additional credit in a business related course
The student must be a graduating senior
The student must be planning to major in Accounting
The student must have at least a B average
The student must submit a written letter of recommendation from a CBEA member
An official transcript of grades must accompany the application
The word-processed application, letter of recommendation, and transcript must be received by May 1, 2007.

Once all eligibility requirements are met, consideration will be given to the number of courses taken, extra-curricular activities, offices held, and overall GPA. Recipients will receive written notification by June 1, 2007.  Awards will be disbursed to students after verification of college enrollment and a copy of second term tuition bill is received.  Checks will be forwarded to the recipient’s address after October 1st of the year of graduation. CBEA and Paul Boynton Scholarships
These are $500 scholarships payable after October 1st of the year of high school graduation.  Eligibility requirements are:
